Empower & Heal Summit

            I was nominated to lead the creative direction for the inaugural Empower & Heal Summit at Rutgers University’s flagship campus in New Brunswick. The interactive summit empowered educators to integrate trauma-informed practices and cultivate inclusive classrooms.

            Attendees learned about current campus climate, how to report harm and supporting impacted students, and action steps for fostering individual and community resilience. Critically, the student experience was centered in certain sessions, helping shape faculty and staff responses in light of recent campus data being released.
