Hi there! I'm Jason Brandon – and I'm obsessed with all things digital media.

Having been an integral member of communications teams in higher education, collaborative leadership is a trait that helps bring each new project to fruition and strategy to implementation.

Since 2021, I've worked in the Office of University Equity and Inclusion at Rutgers University, where I've focused my efforts on brining the first-ever Diversity Strategic Plan to life through original multimedia content and sustained community engagement. I came on board as a Public Relations Specialist, and have been promoted twice now to the role of Associate Director of Communications as of June 2024.

Prior to this role, I worked in the Center for Business Communications at American University to produce content elevating the Center's visibility. Our video on audience dogs even went on to become one of The New York Times' most-viewed videos of 2016.

I earned my Master of Communication and Media from Rutgers University in 2024. Previously, I studied at American University for my B.A. in Film & Media Arts and a certificate in Spanish Translation.

            Soon enough,

            Ideas I’m enjoying

  1. What design can’t do
  2. Imperfect design
  3. Types of deadlines (no, really!)
  4. Herman Miller’s identity matrix
  5. Practitioner-led expansion of design
